It was a perfect day in Stanton Heights last Saturday as the neighborhood gathered to unveil our new gateway sign, and celebrate community together. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, or better neighbors to share the day with us!

Save the date! On August 23rd, Stanton Heights will host its 2nd annual Community Festival. The event will be held from 10:30 am – 4:00 pm in the parking lot of Sunnyside Elementary School. Plans are still evolving, but the day will include: a bounce house, clown, the City’s Roving Art Cart, face painters, a 50/50 raffle, food, and more! The festival’s main events are scheduled as follows:
10:30 – 4:30 Bounce House
11:00 – 2:00 Roving Art Cart
12:00 – 2:30 Face Painters
2:30 – 4:00 Balloon Sculptor
Last weekend’s first community festival was a hit! Thanks to Barry Werber for taking some photos of event, and to all of the neighbors who volunteered or attended. Looking forward to what next year will bring!
This Saturday, August 17th, the Stanton Heights Neighborhood Block Watch will be sponsoring a community festival! Please share this information with your neighbors and join us there!
Due to family vacations and our usual meeting place (Sunnyside Elementary) being closed for the summer, the Stanton Heights Neighborhood Association will NOT meet in July. Our next meeting will take place on September 18th at 6:30 pm. Stay tuned for agenda items and more details.

SAVE THE DATE: Residents are hard at work to plan a Community Festival on August 17th! The exact time and more information to come, but the event is sure to be a hit and will include food, the Roving Art Cart, games, a balloon sculptor, face painting by Three Rivers Village School, and a Chinese auction. Information will be posted to the website, facebook page, and our email list as it becomes available.
