Thanks to our Neighborhood Clean-up Volunteers!

Have you noticed a few cleaner streets this weekend? On Saturday morning, October 24th, 46 students from the University of Pittsburgh helped pick up litter and beautify Stanton Heights. Pitt’s “Make a Difference Day” is a yearly citywide event with over 3,000 students contributing to a day of community service. Neighborhood volunteers Jim Heinrich, Beverly Beisgen, Kit Flot and Kelly McCord supervised the students. A big THANK YOU to everyone who spent a few hours on a chilly autumn morning keeping Stanton Heights looking clean and beautiful.
